There’s no fixed number of Money First Aiders an organisation must have. However, many organisations determine this based on their structure and existing resources. Common approaches include upskilling current mental health first aiders, wellbeing champions, or managers, and ensuring there is at least one money first aider per site or shift pattern, where appropriate.
Smaller organisations often train around 5–10% of their workforce, while larger organisations may aim for closer to 2%.
We’re happy to work with you to explore what might be most suitable for your organisation.
If you’re unsure where to begin, you can start with a smaller group and expand the training gradually over time.
